The Inter-Institutional Master’s Program History of Modern and Contemporary Art offers a contemporary and interdisciplinary framework for the study of European art of the 19th and 20thth centuries. It is addressed to students seeking solid academic training and access to dynamic fields of professional development.

Focuses on European and Greek art of the 19th and 20thth th and 20th centuries, a field covered by the most important museums and most art historians in Greece.

Combines the latest developments in the field of Modern and Contemporary Art History with innovative subjects such as Digital Art History.

Hybrid format: 75% distance learning (synchronous & asynchronous) and 25% face-to-face. This structure ensures access without the need to relocate and facilitates students with limited mobility, including people with disabilities.

Implemented by the University of Ioannina and the University of Patras, offering access to two academic environments.

• 19th- and 20th-Century Art in Greece
• Specialized Course on 19th–20th-Century European Art (The elective courses offered are determined at the beginning of each academic cycle.)

3rd Semester

• Exhibition Curation
• Specialized Course on 19th–20th-Century European Art (The elective courses offered are determined at the beginning of each academic cycle.)
